10 ITC Analysis Firms – Evaluating Corporate Solutions

Every ITC analyst has grown accustomed to looking in the “Magic Quadrant” of Gartner, or in the “Waves” of Forrester Research for a more impartial analysis for its board of directors. Within each company, this was a high level support and with an expectation of exemption that lent credibility to the work of the internal analyst in his technical report and indication of choice.

There is not particularly a formal ranking of these companies, perhaps given the heterogeneity of their ways of acting. They are companies with a revenue of more than US$ 1 billion and others less than US$ 100 million, and they do not, however, have a low quality of analysis due to this, since it depends on the domain of the software chosen for the best use or evaluation of an analytical firm A, or B.

In fact, it is best to find within the group of serious companies, what is available for a particular analysis. For example CRM software, Billing software or Telecommunication Fault Management will have more detailed analyses, according to a certain specialty that each analyst firm has acquired over time.

Companies that perform corporate software analysis have always been important in the life of engineers from ITC industry. In the midst of many presentations, offers, bargains, the analyst sometimes struggled for a detailed and comparative assessment of the options for addressing a particular problem that his company was requesting a solution.

These analysis sought to clarify the alternatives to identify the success cases and to give some particularity that could be important in each application. Over time, graphs, tables, detailed research were being disseminated and the software vendors themselves sought to be well-punctuated in this type of assessment.

In fact, those who did these analysis were also professionals in the industry. They have great experience in some tools and corporate software and had the ability to judge each resource offered by various vendors. So, they use a technical experience for this research. At the same time it was thought how each supplier or product could come out with the new technology trends that have always existed. Hence the Market Trends, which also sought to give a vision of the future to those who made a choice for certain corporate solution.

The following list is not intended to be final or complete in terms of the research at each analytical firm. But it sought to rank companies that were important to technology analysts within corporations. It is also not a financial or size analysis of the company, but only focused at the result and reputation of several analyses.
